Despite what you might read here, this product is spectacular in every sense of the word. I have curly, frizzy, horrible, coarse red hair. I’ve spent years looking for a product to help tame it down and make it manageable. I found this product originally in Target and am always interested in trying new things because SO MANY products claim to tame hair such as mine, but fail miserably. The first time I used this conditioner, my hair felt immediately softer (in the shower). I use four or five different conditioners and this one is a FIVE STAR addition to MY search for a fantastic product for difficult hair. I hope Pantene NEVER stops manufacturing it (but with my luck, they will!).

I do not find this product to be very conditioning at all and therefore do not find it to help protect against breakage. It does not leave your hair easy to comb out (conditioned), thus resulting in breakage. We use hair conditioner for a reason – to soften it and make it easier to comb, etc. This product does not do that. The regular Pantene Relaxed and Natural conditioner is so much better, plus it is a much bigger bottle. I would not waste my time or money trying this product. I do not recommend it. I am surprised it is still being made, actually.
